If SEO is always changing, how can I keep up?

Search Engine Optimization is always evolving and changing, and it can be a challenge to stay up date.  Search engines are always updating their algorithms and essentially changing the rules of the game – so why even bother?

Because SEO is how people find you, it is how business is done, so if you want to be IN BUSINESS, you really don’t have a choice.

The good news is that Google (and the other search engines) aren’t out to “screw you over” or make it impossible to keep up. What they ARE trying to do is stay ahead of the scammers and spammers – which sadly, make up an estimated 60% of the internet.  You know those spoof, click-bait sites with endless ads and crappy content?  Yea, those guys.

Google is trying to deliver good, valuable content to your potential customers, and keep the junkie ad-filled spam out of their results.  To do that, they need to update algorithms and keep these guys on their toes – sadly, that means the good, smaller sites, like yours, need to stay on their game too.
